Three Steps to a Non-Violent Revolution In the United States of America

This is a brief and very simple manifesto for a peaceful revolution by the people and for the people of the United States of America.

If you have become partially or totally disillusioned with the United States Federal Government and its corrupt and inept politicians then please read further. However, if you are comfortable with the status quo, please return to watching “Deal or No Deal.”

Our Federal Government has pushed our country to the brink of economic bankruptcy. This is clearly evident, and can be traced to the misguided federal policies of the Iraq War ($600 Billion) and the $700 Billion taxpayer bail-out for the sub-prime mortgage crisis.

These failures are not solely caused by the incompetence or greed of one political party (Democrat or Republican); these failures are owned by all of our “leaders” in Washington DC. Our Federal Government has failed us.

This Manifesto of a Non-Violent Revolution is not an attack on any particular political party, religious or moral belief. It is more about an awakening, a realization, that our Federal Government and our elected officials are not looking out for the best interests of the United States of America and its people.

It’s time for the people of the United States to band together and take back our country using our vote and combined income. As we all know, like it or not, money controls the United States government; with money comes power.

By following Three Simple Steps we believe we can change the behavior of the United States Federal Government; as well as local government.

We must work together and encourage 30% of the United States’ population to follow the Three Step Process outlined below. This will not be easy, or fast, and sacrifices will need to be made. However, if 90 million Americans sign-up for the revolution we will see a significant and wonderful change; not only in the United States, but the entire world.

1) Cut gas/oil consumption by 15% annually; essentially reduce the miles you drive by 15%. Of course, this reduction will require planning, coordination and may result in minor sacrifices. However, this will significantly reduce the influence Big Oil has on the politics and the politicians in Washington DC. For the security and prosperity of our nation We the People must move our country towards energy independence. We can not wait for our government to lead.

2) Vote for any reasonably qualified person, on any ballot, in any election, other than a Democrat or a Republican. We can no longer reward politicians for "business as usual". The current two party (Democrat vs. Republican) oligarchy is preventing real change in the United States. We the People must be responsible for change.

3) Invest 2% of your income (401K, IRA, personal investment) in any American company pursuing renewable and alternative energy (solar, wind, nuclear, biofuel, geothermal, hydroelectric, etc.). Again, We the People must modify the behavior of Big Business and our Government. The American consumer has the power. If We the People direct our money toward renewable energy Big Business and our Federal Government must follow.
